Recently, DSS held its Quarterly Leadership Meeting. The event brought together DSS executive leadership and district management teams to discuss operational issues. DSS President and COO Mario J. Doyle led the all-day event, reviewing company operations, business development planning, technology integration, and near- and long-term company objectives.

Between April 9 and April 12, members of the DSS leadership team joined thousands of security industry experts, vendors, and executives at the International Security Conference and Exposition in Las Vegas, commonly known as iSC West. Among DSS executives attending the conference were President and Chief Operating Officer Mario J. Doyle, Vice President Joe Martino, and Vice President Mark Riggio.

DSS President and Chief Operating Officer Mario J. Doyle will receive an award in recognition of his efforts to promote women’s leadership in the workplace.
The 2024 MoXY award will be presented at a ceremony on June 5 at The Mansion at Oyster Bay in Woodbury, Long Island.

DSS Collects Record Food Drive Donations
For the third consecutive year, DSS participated in a food drive to benefit disadvantaged families on Long Island, collecting more than 2,300 lbs. of donated goods. This year’s Spring Food Drive resulted in the largest amount of food and other essential items collected in the three years DSS has participated in the campaign.

In January, the Northern New Jersey Chapter XIII of ASIS International presented a local security officer with a prestigious award sponsored by DSS. The Michael F. Bucci Security Officer of the Year Award was given to Jonathan Rodriguez, a security officer assigned to a hospital in northern New Jersey, who prevented a patient from harming himself.

The award was presented at the chapter’s annual First Responders Awards Lunch on November 2, at The Fiesta in Wood-Ridge, New Jersey. DSS Vice President—New Jersey Mark Riggio accepted the award on Mario J. Doyle’s behalf.
