Doyle Security Services (DSS) has long recognized that the primary objective of higher educational institutions is to protect the well-being of their students, faculty, staff, and visitors, in addition to living accommodations, the property and its assets, with cost-effective and efficient security solutions and live-safety procedures.

Our profiled University serves more than 15,000 students with a staff of more than 1,400. DSS has been its security service provider for a decade, deploying almost 600 security professionals to secure the Long Island campus, which features 47 buildings including the Library, residence halls, historic mansions, and a Center for the Performing Arts.

DSS security professionals perform dormitory, lobby and special event security, including temperature screening during the COVID-19 pandemic. To meet the needs of a major university, DSS deploys more than 50 supervisors daily to ensure that all posts are covered and that post orders are strictly followed. DSS recruits only the most qualified and highly screened security professionals for assignment to multiple locations. Security professionals deployed receive specific and comprehensive training to satisfy the University's requirements, maintain the highest level of services, and provide courteous and helpful interactions with facility, staff and students.

Our District Management Team supports the University by providing a customized site specific training program. DSS security professionals are licensed, trained and certified in the areas of active shooter, crisis management, use of force, effective communication, as well as CPR, AED, and First Aid.
