security services providers in the United States and Canada by a high-profile industry listing.

The recently released 2023 Security Letter includes DSS among more than two dozen leading security firms, marking the second consecutive year that the company has appeared on the list.

Security Letter has been issued annually by Robert McCrie, the former editor of Security Letter magazine, for more than two decades. Recent issues have been produced in collaboration with Keith Oringer, President of Security Pro Advisors, which provides brokerage, advisory, and consulting services to security services providers. The list has been described as a “benchmark document that puts the security industry into perspective.”

More than two dozen American and Canadian security services providers made the 2023 Security Letter list of the “Leading Security Guard Companies in North America.” The listing includes global security giants as well as regional providers.

Security services providers who make the list must generate a minimum of $22 million a year in revenue from security operations within North America. This year’s listees posted yearly North American revenues ranging from $20 million to $13 billion. The smallest provider on this year’s list has 650 employees in the U.S. and Canada, compared to 300,000 for the largest.

DSS has achieved industry leading revenue growth over the past several years as the company has added dozens of high-profile clients.
