Recently, DSS held its annual Kickoff Meeting to outline the company’s course for 2024. The meeting is designed to provide guidance on company goals, review accomplishments from the preceding year, and motivate leadership to continue the company’s expansion in the new year.

DSS President & COO Mario J. Doyle, CPP led the event, which was attended by the entire DSS leadership team. He stressed the company’s on-going commitment to its core philosophy of investing in people, dedication to customer satisfaction, and giving back to the communities DSS serves. This commitment is illustrated by new benefits and career development opportunities for team members, the addition of many new high-profile clients over the past year, and DSS’ support for a wide array of charitable campaigns across the entire year.

Doyle reviewed DSS’ dramatic revenue growth – more than 40% year-over-year, the ever- expanding geographic footprint of DSS operations, and the doubling of the number of security professionals deployed by the company over the past several years. He also noted the increasing attention DSS is receiving from the security industry as a whole – another reminder of the company’s unparalleled reputation among its peers.

This year’s Kickoff Meeting featured a moving talk by Joseph Fox a popular Executive Leadership Coach, who spent almost four decades with the New York City Police Department (NYPD), retiring as the Chief of the NYPD’s Transit Bureau in 2018. Fox spoke on the importance of effective leadership, the responsibilities borne by leaders, and practical ways to deal with the challenges leaders face every day. His remarks were timely, relevant, and invigorated the DSS leadership team.
