DSS Offers Scholarships for Children of Team Members

The children and grandchildren of DSS employees may apply for financial awards to help fund their education under a new program.

The company is offering multiple scholarships of $5,000 to students who demonstrate outstanding character, compassion, and dedication to community service.

Children and grandchildren of active DSS employees who are currently college students or planning to attend a college/university or trade school can apply for consideration to receive a scholarship.

There is no minimum GPA or test score requirement. Students pursuing any academic subject or field of training are welcome to apply. While academic performance may be considered, this award emphasizes character, personal growth, and community impact.

DSS is seeking scholarship applicants to reflect the company’s values. Applicants should be able to demonstrate how they are a positive role model for their peers, family, and community, are making a difference by overcoming challenges and building bridges between people, and how they help others by supporting charitable events and organizations that assist those in need and building stronger communities.

To apply, candidates should submit a completed application along with a personal essay of at least 500 words describing a time the applicant fully embraced life or made a positive impact on someone or their community. Proof of current or future enrollment at an educational institution (college, university, or trade school) must also be included with the application and essay.

Application materials must be submitted to Compliance@doylesecurityservices.com by August 1, 2026.

If interested, ask your DSS district office or the HR department for more information about the scholarship program and the application form.

DSS is always committed to investing in our people. These scholarships are an example of our company’s ongoing commitment to that principle.
