
Doyle Security Services (DSS) is pleased to announce that Kyle Hardcastle, M.Litt, has become the new Director of Protective Intelligence & Analysis in our Intelligence, Risk Analysis & Strategic Initiatives (IRASI) division.
Kyle, who is based in London, greatly enhances our international intelligence capabilities. His presence allows DSS to maintain continuous transatlantic intelligence exchange, extending our operational coverage throughout the UK, Europe, and the international markets, as well as providing important risk monitoring outside of the normal hours of business in the United States.
In an operational capacity, Kyle will take on the role of a senior leader in our Protective Intelligence & Analysis Section (PRIAS); he will be in charge of open-source and protective- intelligence collection, analytical quality control, client briefings, and product development throughout our intelligence ecosystem, and will also provide direct support to our Protective Intelligence & Social Media (PRISM) service and our Protective Intelligence for Strategic Insight, Global Hazards & Threats (ProINSIGHT) platform.
“PRIAS is the car, ProINSIGHT is the engine, PRISM is the direction, and Kyle is the driver,” explains DSS Vice President—Intelligence, Risk Advisory & Strategic Initiatives Greg Sanfilippo, to whom Kyle directly reports. “Kyle will be playing a key role in promoting the growth of IRASI and in ensuring the safety of DSS clients all around the world by translating complex global events into real-time, actionable intelligence,” Greg adds.
Kyle has more than 16 years’ experience providing incisive intelligence analysis. He began his career at London’s famed Metropolitan Police Service, where he focused on counter-terrorism, threat horizon scanning, and the protection of critical national infrastructure for more than a decade. An expert in the growing nexus of technology and public safety, Kyle has also served as Lead for New Technologies at the London Policing College and is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology at the University of Greenwich. He is also the author of ‘OSINT Rules of Engagement – UK & US’, where he shares his experience with fellow practitioners.
