Senior DSS Executives Lead Panel Discussion at ISC East

During the recent ISC East conference held at Manhattan’s Javits Center, two members of the DSS leadership team took part in a panel reviewing the state of the contract security industry.

Joe Martino, our Senior Vice President—Operations, and Greg Sanfilippo, our Vice President—Intelligence, Risk Advisory & Strategic Initiatives, joined executives from other
security providers on the highly anticipated panel, "Current Trends in Contract Security.”

The panel discussion covered many important topics. These included the changing role of security officers, major industry challenges, and how emerging technologies are transforming security services. Panelists also discussed the difference between transactional contracts and collaborative client partnerships, and offered advice to young professionals entering the industry.

Greg served as moderator and shared his perspective on threat assessment and intelligence integration, drawing on more than two decades in law enforcement and military leadership. Joe offered key insights into operational excellence and high-level client strategy. His experience includes managing large-scale security portfolios for leading global corporations.

Other panelists included Craig Schwab, COO of Arrow Security, and Bryan Wagner, Chief Commercial Officer at M1 Global.

DSS was proud to see Joe and Greg driving these critical discussions at such a prestigious industry event. Their participation in this high-profile panel underscores the immense depth of talent within our organization.

Their combined experience reflects the deep reservoir of expertise that DSS clients benefit from every single day. It is this caliber of leadership that has propelled DSS to its current standing as a rising force in the industry, recently recognized as one of the Top 20 North American Security Providers by the 2025 issue of Security Letter, a benchmark industry publication.
