DSS Area Vice President Leads Upcoming CPP Course for ASIS Members
ASIS members can take part in a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) Review Course/Study group led by DSS Area Vice President Mordechay Givoni, CPP, starting later this month.
The group, which will prepare participants to take the exam for CPP certification, will be conducted across eight consecutive weeks, starting on November 20, 2024, with an in-person group meeting at ISC East at the Jacob Javits Center from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
Subsequent meetings will be conducted online via Zoom. Each Zoom meeting will run between 60 and 90 minutes.
The course requires a $60 registration fee, per person, which covers the entire course. You can register to receive an ISC East complimentary Exhibit Hall registration and a 20% discount on a 3-day SIA education package, by clicking here.
Again, you must be an ASIS member to take the course and you will be asked for your member ID at the time of enrollment. Those who take the course also must have a copy of the ASIS CPP Study Manual.
Mordechay has led the ASIS NYC Chapter's CPP Review Course/Study Group since 2021. He has been the Chapter’s CPP Continuing Education Committee Chair since 2019. He also has extensive experience in security management and sales; holds a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree in business management and leadership from the City University of New York (CUNY); and is a decorated veteran of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).
There is only room for 50 ASIS members to take this review/study course, so those interested should register fast at ISC East.
