In early June, DSS Director of Specialized Training Ryan Boyle spoke to attendees at a prestigious security organization’s conference in New York City.
Ryan was part of the DSS team at the FBI New York Citizens Academy Alumni Association’s 1st Annual Security Symposium.
DSS was a major sponsor of the event, which brought together security experts and law enforcement officials to build communication channels, share best practices, and raise awareness of security threats facing public and private organizations.
Topics discussed during the symposium included protective intelligence, executive protection, and the value of tabletop exercises in preparing organizations for potential incidents and emergencies.
Ryan’s talk explored how organizations can use tabletop exercises to improve preparedness, enhance decision-making, and develop high-level plans to help them respond to events.
DSS offers a wide range of specialized training options that help our clients identify vulnerabilities, create effective response plans, and train their personnel to respond to emergencies in ways that mitigate risk and improve outcomes.
As always, DSS is proud to sponsor events like the FBI New York Citizens Academy Alumni Association’s 1st Annual Security Symposium. We believe that building partnerships and sharing information helps improve both the security industry and the safety of our communities.
