DSS was proud to be a major sponsor of TiNYg’s recent International Counter Terrorism Conference in New York City.
This year’s event, Cyber, Election Safety & Protests, focused on the rising threats – physical and online - surrounding the upcoming U.S. elections and recent public demonstrations. TiNYg (Global Terrorism Information Network) held the conference in partnership with TD Bank, ASIS NYC, Infragard, the Global Shield Network, and NYPD SHIELD.
The event took place at TD Bank’s offices at 1 Vanderbilt Avenue in midtown Manhattan on Wednesday, October 16, from 10:00am to 3:30pm. The conference featured international security and terrorism experts followed by a panel discussion. Attendees received a complimentary lunch.
TiNYg is a global organization dedicated to the sharing of intelligence and information on potential terrorist threats. DSS President and COO Mario J. Doyle is the Group Vice Chairman & Chairman of TiNYg’s New York Metropolitan Area Council. This important conference provided valuable information regarding the potential for violence, public disorder, and cybersecurity issues linked to the election and its aftermath.
