DSS Executives Participate in ISC East Awards Ceremony
This month at the ISC East conference in Manhattan, members of the DSS leadership team had the distinct privilege of playing key roles in one of the industry’s most celebrated traditions: the ASIS NYC Person of the Year Luncheon.
It was a proud moment for our organization to see DSS President and COO, Mario J. Doyle, CPP, lead the event as Master of Ceremonies, guiding a program that honored the very best in law enforcement and private security.
As Emcee, Mario led a packed room of industry veterans and law enforcement officials through an afternoon dedicated to recognizing teamwork and dedication to excellence. ASIS NYC Chapter Chair Brian H. Reich welcomed attendees and made introductions.
The event’s highlight was the presentation of the 2025 Person of the Year Award to New York City Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch. Commissioner Tisch was acknowledged for her visionary leadership and her steadfast commitment to strengthening the vital collaboration between the NYPD and the private security sector. Other awards followed.
James O’Neill, the Global Head of Security & Safety at Visa and former NYC Police Commissioner, delivered the keynote address. His insights into the evolving global threat landscape and the future of corporate security provided a forward-thinking strategy to help the security industry adapt to an ever-changing global environment.
Joe Martino, DSS Senior Vice President—Operations, co-presented the 2025 Scholarship Awards, while Mario delivered the closing remarks for the ceremony.
As an organization, DSS is committed to participating in premier events like ISC East and supporting the ASIS NYC Chapter as fundamental elements to the company’s mission. These gatherings are the incubators of the public-private partnerships that keep our communities safe.
Through leadership roles at key events, DSS fulfils its promise to be a driving force in the security industry.
Congratulations to Commissioner Tisch, the scholarship recipients, award winners, and everyone who made this year's luncheon a resounding success!
