DSS Conducts Quarterly
Leadership Meeting

Recently, DSS senior staff gathered for a Quarterly Leadership Meeting to discuss operational issues and solicit ideas for organizational improvement.

Quarterly Leadership Meetings are held to review operations across the DSS’ entire operating footprint in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida and ensure that managers remain focused on the company’s strategic goals. The entire DSS executive leadership team attended the event, along with the senior managers from all district and regional teams.

During the all-day meeting, DSS President and COO Mario J. Doyle provided an overview of the company’s business development planning, outlining the path for continued DSS expansion in 2025.

As part of the morning session, Marc Bognar, CPP, principal at Bognar Consulting, discussed the importance of focusing on excellence and building better organizations as a way to accelerate growth. Marc has decades of experience in the security and investigations industry providing critical guidance for building strong and effective operational teams and developing
robust corporate organizations.

During the afternoon session, Laura Martin and Sarah Hudson of Simply Forward Coaching spoke to the DSS team about the importance of resilience. They stressed the ways that resilience enhances how individual team members – and the organization as a whole – adapt to changing conditions, rise to meet new challenges, and embrace new opportunities to expand the organization and improve as individuals. They also provided guidance to the team on how to develop their resilience and amplify its impact both personally and professionally.

At DSS, we are always looking for ways to improve the way our organization functions. Over the past four years, our company has experienced dynamic growth, expanding from a deployment of just 500 security officers in 2021 to more than 1,200 today. Our growth is the result of DSS leadership’s dedication to supporting our personnel and forging longlasting partnerships with our clients.

Quarterly Leadership Meetings also allow DSS executives to gather feedback from our district and regional managers. This feedback provides critical input with which the leadership team can evaluate business development plans and find new ways to streamline operations and improve service to our clients.
