DSS Attends Pediatric Cancer Fundraiser
DSS team members recently participated in a gala dinner, raising funds to combat childhood cancer.
DSS purchased a table at the Daniela Conte Foundation annual gala dinner. Attendees included President and COO Mario J. Doyle, Long Island Client Service Manager Gerardo Molina, their wives, and other Long Island team members.
This marked the second year DSS has attended the gala dinner, which is now in its fourth year.
The Foundation commemorates the life of Daniela Conte, who died from Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of childhood cancer when she was just eight years old. Her parents, Anthony and Katia Conte, created the non-profit foundation to increase awareness of childhood cancer, raise money to fund research into new treatments for Rhabdomyosarcoma, and help families facing all forms of pediatric cancer.
Founded in 2020, the Foundation conducts fundraising through a variety of events, including 5K walks, the annual gala dinner, and corporate partnerships.
DSS is proud to support organizations like the Daniela Conte Foundation. Giving back to the communities we serve is a core element of DSS’ foundational philosophy. We encourage our team members to identify and support worthy local charities and help make the world a better place.
