DSS Area Vice President Conducts
CPP Course
Once again, a DSS executive is leading a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) Review Course / Study group, open to members of ASIS International.
The review course, overseen by DSS Area Vice President Mordechay Givoni, is designed to prepare participants to take the CPP certification exam. The course is conducted over eight consecutive weeks. The first course took place at the recent ISC East conference, held in late November at the Javits Center in Manhattan.
While the first review session was an in-person event, the seven subsequent meetings will be conducted online via Zoom. Each weekly Zoom meeting lasts 60 to 90 minutes.
Participants in the CPP Review Course are divided into seven individual study groups. Each study group reviews a selected CPP course domain. Members of each group work together to prepare a recorded session and PowerPoint presentation discussing their chosen CPP domain.
The weekly presentations allow members to study course material prepared and presented by their peers, familiarizing themselves with it in preparation for the 4-hour CPP certification exam. The Certified Protection Professional (CPP) is ASIS International's board certification in Security Management. It is recognized as the gold standard in the security industry.
As Area Vice President at DSS, Mordechay oversees sales and business development, managing client relationships, and establishing new client partnerships.
He has led the ASIS NYC Chapter's CPP Review Course/Study Group since 2021 and has been the chapter’s CPP Continuing Education Committee Chair since 2019.
DSS is proud that members of our leadership team participate in major industry organizations, such as ASIS International. Our company is committed to collaborating with security industry partners and organizations to enhance the services we provide to our clients and the industry in which we operate.
