We are extremely proud to announce that DSS, as a company, and DSS Team Members have been named finalists in several categories of the 2026 US Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs).
- DSS Director of Public Safety and Security at a major university client in Pennsylvania, Albert Kristoff, was named as a finalist in the Outstanding Contract Security Manager/Director category.
- DSS District Manager (New York City) Christian Cardona was named as a finalist in the Outstanding Young Security Professional category.
- DSS Security Officer Alexander Barnych was named as a finalist for Outstanding Security Officer.
- DSS was named as a finalist in the Outstanding Contract Security Company (Guarding) category, marking the sixth consecutive year that DSS has been named as a finalist.
Now in their 11th year, the 2026 US Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) identify and celebrate excellence in the security services sector. The awards are based on research-backed criteria and careful evaluation by a team of independent security experts.
The OSPAs recognize superior performance by contract security providers and their personnel across a wide variety of categories, including in-house teams, new products, and exceptional individuals. Formed in partnership with leading industry associations, the OSPAs are considered a premier benchmark for excellence and integrity by security providers across the nation.
The awards are presented annually in several countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, India, New Zealand, Germany, Ireland, Norway, Kenya, South Africa, and Nigeria. Winners in each nation advance to compete at the Global OSPAs.

This year’s OSPA winners will be announced on September 13 at the ASIS Volunteer Awards of Excellence during the annual GSX conference in Atlanta, Georgia.
