Doyle Security Services (DSS) has improved its ranking among the largest security services companies in the United States and Canada, according to a prestigious industry publication.

The recently released 2025 Security Letter, which lists the “Leading Security Guard Companies in North America,” places DSS among the top twenty firms providing security services.

While this marks the fourth consecutive year that DSS has been included in the annual listing, it is the first time that the company has ranked inside the top twenty. Last year, by contrast, DSS was in the Top 25.

Security services providers who make the list must generate revenue from security operations within the United States and Canada. This year’s listees posted yearly North American revenues ranging from $25 million to more than $13 billion. The smallest provider on this year’s list has 552 employees deployed across the U.S. and Canada, compared to 308,000 for the largest.

Robert McCrie, the former editor of Security Letter magazine, issued the annual Security Letter for more than two decades. Recent issues were produced in collaboration with the late Keith Oringer, President of Security Pro Advisors, a legend in the security industry who passed away this year. This year’s edition was compiled by Security Pro Advisors.

Security List has been praised as a “benchmark document that puts the security industry into perspective.”
