As Strategic Support Manager, Gerardo oversees DSS’ operational technology systems. He administers the DSS 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC), supervises our vehicle fleet, and manages the portfolio of a major utility service provider.

DSS has made a significant investment in technology to ensure contractual compliance and to improve service delivery. Gerardo monitors these systems to ensure efficient resource allocation and mentors team members who need assistance.

He has also spearheaded multiple charitable efforts at DSS, rallying team members to volunteer their time and effort to help needy families. And he encourages DSS as a company to support many worthy local charities, including the National Kidney Foundation’s annual Kidney Walk and the Daniela Conte Foundation. He also assists with many other charitable campaigns at DSS.

In 2022, he received the Michael F. Bucci Memorial Award, Security Manager of the Year Award, one of DSS’ highest honors, for his exemplary service to the company and his commitment to giving back to local Long Island communities. In 2021, he received the company’s Good Citizen of the Year award for his charitable work.
