Based at the company’s headquarters in Rockville Centre, Long Island, Bramny oversees all billing and payroll operations across DSS’ geographic footprint. As the Payroll & Billing Manager, she has one of the most important jobs in the company: ensuring that every DSS employee is paid correctly and on time. This is a monumental task in a company experiencing the rapid annual growth that DSS has shown over the past several years.
DSS deploys personnel to hundreds of clients across multiple states. The hours worked by every employee at each client site must be verified before payroll can be compiled. Time sheets must be reviewed and confirmed, and requests for Paid Time Off (PTO) also must be verified.
Bramny and her team must check with client account managers to ensure all information is correct. Then the information has to be entered into the DSS payroll systems. Additionally, Bramny oversees each client’s billing, confirming that hours and services are being billed correctly. Clients receive weekly, biweekly, or monthly invoices, depending on the contract, so Bramny’s team is constantly working to prepare accurate and timely invoices.
Bramny joined DSS in 2021 as a Payroll Specialist. Just two years later, she was promoted to Payroll & Billing Supervisor. In 2023, Bramny was recognized with the annual Support Staff Member of the Year award for her efforts; a year later, she received the prestigious President’s Award for her dedication, hard work, and tireless pursuit of excellence.
She continues to earn high praise from company leadership for helping DSS navigate the challenges of rapid expansion, a payroll system migration, and the complex payroll and billing requirements of DSS’ unique mix of high-profile clients.
