Yftah Kaluski
Yftah Kaluski was recently promoted to the newly created position of Vice President of Operational Efficiency. In this position, he will focus on refining company-wide processes to improve productivity, increase profitability, and enhance overall operational performance across the company’s entire operating footprint. The core objective of this position is to support continued, steady organizational growth by developing and implementing process-driven initiatives that enhance client service and better support our employees.
Yftah will continue to provide executive oversight to DSS operations, ensuring the alignment of district team management with organizational goals. He works with team members to increase efficiency, maintain the highest standards, increase team cooperation and collaboration, and develop and implement planning to enhance operational functionality. In addition to his new duties, Yftah will continue to support Business Development (BD) through pricing strategy initiatives. He collaborates closely with the BD team to refine the client intake process and RFP submissions and responses. He reports directly to Chief Operating Officer Joe Martino.
Yftah has extensive experience in operations and excellent management skills. He is a master at problem-solving, highly innovative, and provides mentoring to operations teams across our footprint. He has decades of security industry and military experience. He was born in Israel and served in the Israeli Air Force before immigrating to the United States. Yftah spent years leading diverse teams and collaborating with high-profile clients across various industries. This includes more than 15 years in a high-level position managing 22 branches and over $100 million in business for one of the most prestigious companies in the nation.
Eventually, Yftah joined leading integrated facilities management companies, overseeing security operations at locations for global pharmaceutical companies. In these positions, he was embedded within the client companies’ operations, teaching him how to collaborate with suppliers, purchasing, and financial operations, as well as corporate governance and managing partnerships. That experience showed Yftah how to build global security programs that were cohesive and maximized command and control, strategic planning, team collaboration, and personnel management.
As Vice President of Operational Efficiency, Yftah helps DSS adjust its operations to remain aligned with the leadership team’s strategic planning, while fostering a collaborative and dynamic working environment and ensuring continued efficiency. By constantly reviewing and refining operational processes, he enables DSS to constantly improve the service provided to its clients, allowing DSS to grow financially and geographically.
Yftah earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in communications from the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). Before turning to the security services industry, Yftah served as an assistant professor of communications.
