Corporate Leadership Team

Mario J. Doyle, CPP
President & Chief Operating Officer

Mario founded Doyle Security Services (DSS) in 2005 with a team of security industry and law enforcement experts. Since then, DSS has grown into one of the New York metropolitan region’s premier security and life safety services providers, deploying hundreds of protection professionals for high-profile clients at sensitive, highly trafficked locations.

Prior to founding DSS, Mario served as a senior executive with national and regional protective service organizations, developing in-depth experience in contract management, safety and physical security services, investigations, risk assessment, security operations, compliance, quality assurance, and crisis management.

In 2006, Mario was appointed by the Nassau County Police Commissioner to serve as the Director for the Nassau County Police Department’s - Law Enforcement Exploring program. The Law Enforcement Exploring program provides hands-on and educational training programs for young adults on the purposes, mission, and objectives of law enforcement. The primary goals of the program are to help young adults choose a career path within law enforcement and to challenge them to become responsible citizens of their communities and our great nation.

Mario serves as the Group Vice Chairman & Chairman of the New York Metropolitan Area Council of TINYg (Global Terrorism Information Network). TINYg is a global counterterrorism-centric organization that is dedicated to the sharing of intelligence and information on potential global terrorist threats. TINYg’s single unifying purpose is “To maintain an up-to-date understanding of global terrorism by bringing together subject matter experts, in a trusted environment, in order to increase members awareness of threats and to allow them to develop their capabilities to prepare and respond.”

Mario also serves on the board of The Global Shield Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting The Global Shield Network (GSN). The GSN consists of Law Enforcement and Intelligence Agencies from around the world, which share information and intelligence and encourage collaboration with private sector partners. The GSN exponentially increases the breadth and scope of intelligence and information sharing with the primary goal of preventing crime and terrorism around the world.

Mario has been active in the law enforcement and homeland security communities for over two decades. And has been recognized widely as a leader in promoting information-sharing partnerships between both law enforcement communities and private sector security practitioners.

Mario has also served in senior leadership roles at professional associations such as ASIS International and the Associated Licensed Detectives of New York State (ALDONYS). He is an active member of National Law Enforcement Associates, Inc., the Nassau County Municipal Police Chief’s Association, and serves as the Director of the Nassau County Police Foundation and the Suffolk County Police Athletic League.

Joe Martino
Senior Vice President, Operations

Joe provides direct executive oversight to DSS operations across our entire operating footprint and serves as one of the company’s business development leaders.

With Joe’s leadership and oversight, he led initiatives in customizing security services for clients to include risk mitigation, emergency and disaster recovery responses, developed training programs/procedures for client locations, and directed executive protection teams on high profile details. Joe has an extensive track record of client satisfaction and retention throughout his career and has a passion for giving back to the industry by mentoring the future leaders in the security profession.

He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Administration from Iona University in New York. He is an active member and contributor in ASIS International, BOMA, and IFMA.

Emad Himaya
Senior Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer

Emad reports directly to the President. Emad has ultimate responsibility in meeting contract, state and federal requirements for clients across Long Island. He has four decades of contract security industry experience and has held high-level executive management positions both regionally and nationally for global security services providers. Emad is also the chief administrator for DSS and collaborates closely with the President on policy development, fiscal management, organizational structure, as DSS continues to experience double digital growth annually.

He also has a life safety certificate and directed the life/safety operations for one of the nation’s largest security services providers in New York City for over 20 years, including developing and ensuring compliance for the life/safety program at one of the nation’s largest telecommunications provider’s locations in the city. Emad developed and oversaw compliance for Local Laws 5 and 26 governing positions such as Fire Safety Directors, Directors of Life Safety, and other similar positions.

Emad earned a Bachelor of Science degree from St. John’s University. He holds a training certificate from the Department of Homeland Security in Field Counterterrorism.

John Kalle

Vice President - Business Development & Quality Assurance

John oversees DSS’ strategic expansion and customer satisfaction and retention. He is focused on building new customer partnerships, maintaining existing customer relationships, delivering the highest quality of service to our clients, and expanding our company’s geographic footprint. John reports directly to the President.

His experience in the contract security industry spans more than 35 years. He has served in senior leadership roles at a wide variety of major companies, including as Director of Security for a large international real estate development firm and as District Manager, Regional Vice President, and Vice President (for 15 years) for leading national security services providers.

John is active in various industry organizations, including the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS). He earned his bachelor’s degree from Queens College.

Colette DePasquale
Vice President - Human Resources

Colette ensures that DSS recruits the highest quality security professionals to deploy at client locations across our operating regions. She liaises with other members of the executive team and district managers to ensure that personnel at client locations receive all necessary support and resources from the DSS corporate organization. Colette has more than 30 years of security industry and law enforcement experience.

She began her career at the United States Department of Customs and Immigration Service, where she spent more than a decade as a Special Agent. Prior to joining DSS, Colette held a number of senior positions at security services providers in the New York City region, including Director of Security Operations.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Long Island University (LIU). She holds both New York State Armed Security and Private Investigator’s licenses. Colette is also a member of ASIS International and the Long Island Business Institute.

Rosanne “Roe” Manghisi
Vice President, Protective & Consulting Services

As Vice President, Protective & Consulting Services, Roe manages DSS armed personnel, directs executive protection details, conducts investigations, and liaises with law enforcement and intelligence agencies. She is also responsible for overseeing the DSS Safety Act Certification program.

Roe has over four decades of experience in law enforcement and security. She began her career with the New Jersey State Police as a member of the first class of female state troopers. During her time with the state police, Roe assisted with intelligence operations at Ground Zero in the aftermath of September 11, 2001; led state troopers deployed to New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina; and oversaw security for many high-level state events.

She also received considerable praise for her undercover Organized Crime and Narcotics investigations, which resulted in some of the largest confiscations of illicit drugs and currency, and took part in an undercover operation that led to the arrest and conviction of high-level criminals.

After more than 26 years, Roe retired from the state police as a Captain and Chief of Staff, the first woman to achieve that title. She then served in senior roles at several security services providers, establishing special services divisions to cater to elite clients, and leveraging law enforcement contacts to grow annual sales. She was most recently the Chief Operating Officer of a nationwide security organization.

Roe is a member of NAWLEE (National Association of Women Law Enforcement Executives), MAAWLE (Mid-Atlantic Association of Women in Law Enforcement), FBINAA (FBI National Academy Associates), IACP (International Association of Chiefs of Police), and was a founding member of Lady Blue & Gold. Additionally, she serves on the advisory board for the U.S. Department of Justice’s National Institute of Justice.

A graduate of the FBI National Academy, Roe also earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Seton Hall University and Thomas Edison State College.

Greg Sanfilippo
Vice President – Intelligence, Risk Advisory & Security Initiatives

Greg heads the DSS division focused on enhancing risk assessment and intelligence integration across our operational infrastructure, reporting directly to Senior Vice President—Operations Joe Martino.

He leads our expert team conducting in-depth evaluations of potential threats and vulnerabilities across all client locations, assessing the associated risks and their potential impact on operations. Based on these findings, DSS formulates targeted, effective strategies to mitigate threats and reduce overall risk
exposure. With this vital data, DSS is fully equipped to deliver comprehensive Risk Advisory and Vulnerability Assessment services.

Greg possesses decades of law enforcement and military experience. He joined the City of New York Police Department (NYPD) in 2008, rising to the role of Sergeant and serving as a supervisor with NYPD Shield, a public-private intelligence sharing and counterterrorism program that has become a model for similar programs across the U.S. and worldwide. DSS is a long- time partner with NYPD Shield and the Global Shield Network.

At NYPD Shield, Greg liaised with private sector security executives across the New York City metro region to identify criminal and terrorist activity and provide effective deterrence and incident response. During his time with the NYPD, he received the NYC Police Foundation’s Hemmerdinger Award for Excellence and the NYPD’s McGee Award.

Greg has spent more than two decades with the U.S. Marine Corps and Army Reserves filling command positions at the Platoon, Detachment, and Company-levels. Deployed overseas, he successfully oversaw the integration of force protection, military intelligence, communications, maneuver support, and logistics for Division and Brigade Personal Security Detachments operating in hostile areas, earning the U.S. Army’s Bronze Star.

Greg earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Seton Hall University and a Master of Arts in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University.

Regional Leadership Team

Yftah Kaluski
Area Vice President—Operations

Yftah provides executive oversight to DSS operations, helping to ensure the alignment of district team management to organizational strategic goals. He works with operational team members at all levels to increase efficiency, maintain the highest standards of service delivery, increase team cooperation and collaboration, and develop and implement planning to enhance operational functionality. He reports directly to Senior Vice President—Operations Joe Martino.

An accomplished security leader, Yftah possesses extensive experience in operations and excellent security management skills. He is a master at problem-solving, highly innovative, and will provide structure and mentoring to operations teams across our footprint.

Yftah has decades of valuable experience leading diverse teams and collaborating with high-profile clients across various industries. This includes more than 15 years in a high-level position managing 22 branches and over $100 million in business for one of the most prestigious companies in the nation. Before immigrating to the United States, he served in the Israeli Air Force.

He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in communications from New York Institute of Technology.

 
Vanessa Vanegas
Director of Operations, New York City

Vanessa provides strategic direction and progressive leadership, overseeing all operations in New York City. Vanessa has almost 20 years of security industry experience. She began her career at JFK International Airport’s Terminal One as a Security Officer. Vanessa quickly rose to the position of Supervisor and then spent 15 years as an Operations Manager for leading aviation security provider at the Airport.

Prior to joining DSS, she was General Manager of the Aviation Division of a major security services provider at the airport, serving more than a dozen major airlines and terminals. In this role, she directed scores of security personnel, prepared financial reports, oversaw the company's aviation office operations, and developed strategies to enhance client service and reduce costs.

At DSS, Vanessa ensures the highest levels of professionalism and customer responsiveness, as well as strict compliance with all relevant regulations and directives for our clients. She also communicates directly with DSS’ Executive Leadership Team, resulting in streamlined decision making and effective service outcomes. She studied Business Management at Queensborough College.

Angel Cintron
District Manager, New Jersey & Pennsylvania Regions

Angel has more than two decades of experience in the security industry. He joined DSS more than 10 years ago. As District Manager, he provides active oversight of all accounts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. 

Angel meets regularly with clients to assess their needs and ensure that DSS is meeting all contractual obligations and client expectations. He works directly with human resource managers, recruiters, field inspectors and site supervisors to monitor and support officer performance and the delivery of quality security services. 

Angel earned an Associate degree in Criminal Justice from Hudson Community College in New Jersey.

Eugene (“Gene”) O’Donnell

District Manager, Port Authority of New York & New Jersey / NYC Economic Development Corporation

Gene oversees DSS’ daily operations at several critical infrastructure facilities under our contracts with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey
(PANYNJ) and the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYC EDC). To manage security operations at these heavily trafficked and highly
sensitive locations, Gene collaborates regularly with a wide number of local, state, and federal agencies.

Every day, he works to ensure that every post is covered and that DSS maintains full compliance with the terms of its contract with PANYNJ. He also monitors operational safety, security program integrity, and client satisfaction with DSS performance.

Before joining DSS, Gene directed security at these same Port Authority facilities. Prior to that, he spent 16 years in senior security management positions for a leading security services provider and for major corporate entities. He began his career as a correctional officer for Middlesex County in New Jersey.

Gene holds a New York / New Jersey Waterfront Commission Management Security License (MSO), Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC), and Security Worker Access Consortium (SWAC) credentials. He is a certified Maritime Facility Security Officer (MFSO).

Helena Montenegro

District Manager, Long Island

Helena provides active oversight of all DSS accounts on Long Island and facilitates day-to-day decisions to satisfy client needs. She works directly with all levels of the DSS organization to ensure the delivery of the highest quality service and meets regularly with clients.

Helena has more than two decades of hands-on security management experience. She began her career at JFK International Airport as a translator with U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Helena’s work at the airport led her to join a regional security services provider as a Security Officer. Through dedication and outstanding performance, she was quickly promoted and held various management positions in the provider’s Aviation Division, ultimately becoming Account Manager for a major national airline at JFK, one of the provider’s most prestigious clients.

Helena continued in this role for more than ten years, overseeing security operations at JFK Terminal 5. On a daily basis, Helena coordinated traffic control, catering security, and all other terminal building security functions, including Central Control Station CCTV video coverage and alarm system monitoring. She ensured that all security personnel at the terminal – which encompassed a staff of 400 security officers, 15 supervisors, and two managers – received the required counseling and training. Helena also directed scheduling, payroll, billing, compliance, and recruiting for the security provider’s staff at Terminal 5.

She possesses considerable experience working with local, state, and federal law enforcement and regulatory agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), U.S. Secret Service, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Tim Morris
Regional Manager, Florida

Tim has over 30 years of Law Enforcement and Security Management experience in the South Florida Area.  He started his career as a Police Officer with the Miami Beach Police Department then became the first African American Police Officer at the Biscayne Park Police Department until venturing into contract security management. 

Prior to joining DSS, Tim served as an Area Vice President and Regional Manager at major security providers.  Tim possesses significant experience in contract negotiations, as well as government, commercial, retail, and HOA security contract management. 

He holds bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from Saint Thomas University.

Glenn Leusink
Training and Development Manager

As training and development manager, Glenn oversees the development of security and service-related materials for DSS team members and customers. He conducts security license training classes for the DSS team members in New York and New Jersey and delivers training that meets the Department of Homeland Security Safety Act requirements. Glenn also manages the DSS Learning Management system, which can deliver training materials electronically to DSS team members and clients.  

Glenn has more than thirty years of security industry and military experience. Prior to joining DSS, he held a variety of leadership positions at security services providers, including serving as a Director of Training & Development, preparing and delivering security training to both employees and customers. Before entering the security industry, Glenn served in the United States Air Force, both in active deployment and as an Instructor at the USAF Security Forces Academy at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. He was also the Superintendent of Information and Personnel Security program for the Pennsylvania Air National Guard.

He holds an Associate of Science degree from Sussex County Community College. Glenn is active in industry organizations, including ASIS and the New York Fire & Life Safety Directors Association. He is also certified as a New York State General Topics Security Guard Training Instructor, New Jersey SORA Instructor, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training Instructor, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor, and American Safety & Health Heart Saver Instructor.

Business Development Team

Mark Riggio
Vice President of Business Development and Quality Assurance for New Jersey and Pennsylvania

Mark oversees business development and quality assurance across New Jersey and Pennsylvania, managing DSS’ long-term relationships with our many client partners, building new partnerships, and maintaining quality service delivery and client satisfaction. He reports to John Kalle, corporate Vice President of Business Development and Quality Assurance.

Mark has more than three decades of law enforcement and security industry experience. He began his career with the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Department and later joined the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, investigating a wide range of criminal activity, including auto theft. After he retired from Essex County, Mark entered the contract security industry, ultimately overseeing company operations in six states as a senior regional executive.

Before joining DSS, Mark spent 16 years in various security management and operations positions with regional security services providers. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Police Science from Jersey City State University. 

Mark is a New Jersey Certified SORA Instructor and is a member of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers, ASIS, CAI, BOMA, NJAA, CUPSA and the New Jersey State Retired Police and Firemen’s Association.

Mordechay Givoni, CPP
Area Vice President

Mordechay has more than 15 years of experience in security management and sales as well as significant international military service. As Area Vice President, he oversees sales and business development in his region, managing client relationships and establishing new client partnerships for DSS.

Before joining DSS, Mordechay was the Vice President of Sales at a leading regional security services provider. He was instrumental in growing the provider’s business and extending its footprint to the West Coast. Prior to that, he served as the Regional Business Development Manager for a nationwide security services provider, winning many high-profile clients and expanding the company’s presence in the Northeast.

Mordechay earned a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree in business management and leadership from the City University of New York (CUNY). He is a member of ASIS NYC and serves as the chapter’s CPP Continuing Education Committee Chair, directing the annual Certified Protection Professional (CPP) review course and providing training and mentoring to security professionals who are pursuing their CPP Certification.

Mordechay is a decorated veteran of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). He served in Maglan & Palsar Givati special forces units in the 1990s, seeing active combat missions in Southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip. He was awarded the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) Security Zone in Lebanon Campaign Ribbon for combat service.

Efrain Santiago
Business Development Administrator

Jason Choi
Area Vice President

John Kalle

Vice President - Business Development & Quality Assurance

John oversees DSS’ strategic expansion and customer satisfaction and retention. He is focused on building new customer partnerships, maintaining existing customer relationships, delivering the highest quality of service to our clients, and expanding our company’s geographic footprint. John reports directly to the President.

His experience in the contract security industry spans more than 35 years. He has served in senior leadership roles at a wide variety of major companies, including as Director of Security for a large international real estate development firm and as District Manager, Regional Vice President, and Vice President (for 15 years) for leading national security services providers.

John is active in various industry organizations, including the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS). He earned his bachelor’s degree from Queens College.

Colette DePasquale
Vice President - Human Resources

Colette ensures that DSS recruits the highest quality security professionals to deploy at client locations across our operating regions. She liaises with other members of the executive team and district managers to ensure that personnel at client locations receive all necessary support and resources from the DSS corporate organization. Colette has more than 30 years of security industry and law enforcement experience.

She began her career at the United States Department of Customs and Immigration Service, where she spent more than a decade as a Special Agent. Prior to joining DSS, Colette held a number of senior positions at security services providers in the New York City region, including Director of Security Operations.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Long Island University (LIU). She holds both New York State Armed Security and Private Investigator’s licenses. Colette is also a member of ASIS International and the Long Island Business Institute.

Rosanne “Roe” Manghisi
Vice President, Protective & Consulting Services

As Vice President, Protective & Consulting Services, Roe manages DSS armed personnel, directs executive protection details, conducts investigations, and liaises with law enforcement and intelligence agencies. She is also responsible for overseeing the DSS Safety Act Certification program.

Roe has over four decades of experience in law enforcement and security. She began her career with the New Jersey State Police as a member of the first class of female state troopers. During her time with the state police, Roe assisted with intelligence operations at Ground Zero in the aftermath of September 11, 2001; led state troopers deployed to New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina; and oversaw security for many high-level state events.

She also received considerable praise for her undercover Organized Crime and Narcotics investigations, which resulted in some of the largest confiscations of illicit drugs and currency, and took part in an undercover operation that led to the arrest and conviction of high-level criminals.

After more than 26 years, Roe retired from the state police as a Captain and Chief of Staff, the first woman to achieve that title. She then served in senior roles at several security services providers, establishing special services divisions to cater to elite clients, and leveraging law enforcement contacts to grow annual sales. She was most recently the Chief Operating Officer of a nationwide security organization.

Roe is a member of NAWLEE (National Association of Women Law Enforcement Executives), MAAWLE (Mid-Atlantic Association of Women in Law Enforcement), FBINAA (FBI National Academy Associates), IACP (International Association of Chiefs of Police), and was a founding member of Lady Blue & Gold. Additionally, she serves on the advisory board for the U.S. Department of Justice’s National Institute of Justice.

A graduate of the FBI National Academy, Roe also earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Seton Hall University and Thomas Edison State College.

Greg Sanfilippo
Vice President – Intelligence, Risk Advisory & Security Initiatives

Greg heads the DSS division focused on enhancing risk assessment and intelligence integration across our operational infrastructure, reporting directly to Senior Vice President—Operations Joe Martino.

He leads our expert team conducting in-depth evaluations of potential threats and vulnerabilities across all client locations, assessing the associated risks and their potential impact on operations. Based on these findings, DSS formulates targeted, effective strategies to mitigate threats and reduce overall risk
exposure. With this vital data, DSS is fully equipped to deliver comprehensive Risk Advisory and Vulnerability Assessment services.

Greg possesses decades of law enforcement and military experience. He joined the City of New York Police Department (NYPD) in 2008, rising to the role of Sergeant and serving as a supervisor with NYPD Shield, a public-private intelligence sharing and counterterrorism program that has become a model for similar programs across the U.S. and worldwide. DSS is a long- time partner with NYPD Shield and the Global Shield Network.

At NYPD Shield, Greg liaised with private sector security executives across the New York City metro region to identify criminal and terrorist activity and provide effective deterrence and incident response. During his time with the NYPD, he received the NYC Police Foundation’s Hemmerdinger Award for Excellence and the NYPD’s McGee Award.

Greg has spent more than two decades with the U.S. Marine Corps and Army Reserves filling command positions at the Platoon, Detachment, and Company-levels. Deployed overseas, he successfully oversaw the integration of force protection, military intelligence, communications, maneuver support, and logistics for Division and Brigade Personal Security Detachments operating in hostile areas, earning the U.S. Army’s Bronze Star.

Greg earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Seton Hall University and a Master of Arts in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University.

Yftah Kaluski
Area Vice President—Operations

Yftah provides executive oversight to DSS operations, helping to ensure the alignment of district team management to organizational strategic goals. He works with operational team members at all levels to increase efficiency, maintain the highest standards of service delivery, increase team cooperation and collaboration, and develop and implement planning to enhance operational functionality. He reports directly to Senior Vice President—Operations Joe Martino.

An accomplished security leader, Yftah possesses extensive experience in operations and excellent security management skills. He is a master at problem-solving, highly innovative, and will provide structure and mentoring to operations teams across our footprint.

Yftah has decades of valuable experience leading diverse teams and collaborating with high-profile clients across various industries. This includes more than 15 years in a high-level position managing 22 branches and over $100 million in business for one of the most prestigious companies in the nation. Before immigrating to the United States, he served in the Israeli Air Force.

He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in communications from New York Institute of Technology.

 
Vanessa Vanegas
Director of Operations, New York City

Vanessa provides strategic direction and progressive leadership, overseeing all operations in New York City. Vanessa has almost 20 years of security industry experience. She began her career at JFK International Airport’s Terminal One as a Security Officer. Vanessa quickly rose to the position of Supervisor and then spent 15 years as an Operations Manager for leading aviation security provider at the Airport.

Prior to joining DSS, she was General Manager of the Aviation Division of a major security services provider at the airport, serving more than a dozen major airlines and terminals. In this role, she directed scores of security personnel, prepared financial reports, oversaw the company's aviation office operations, and developed strategies to enhance client service and reduce costs.

At DSS, Vanessa ensures the highest levels of professionalism and customer responsiveness, as well as strict compliance with all relevant regulations and directives for our clients. She also communicates directly with DSS’ Executive Leadership Team, resulting in streamlined decision making and effective service outcomes. She studied Business Management at Queensborough College.

Angel Cintron
District Manager, New Jersey & Pennsylvania Regions

Angel has more than two decades of experience in the security industry. He joined DSS more than 10 years ago. As District Manager, he provides active oversight of all accounts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. 

Angel meets regularly with clients to assess their needs and ensure that DSS is meeting all contractual obligations and client expectations. He works directly with human resource managers, recruiters, field inspectors and site supervisors to monitor and support officer performance and the delivery of quality security services. 

Angel earned an Associate degree in Criminal Justice from Hudson Community College in New Jersey.

Eugene (“Gene”) O’Donnell

District Manager, Port Authority of New York & New Jersey / NYC Economic Development Corporation

Gene oversees DSS’ daily operations at several critical infrastructure facilities under our contracts with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey
(PANYNJ) and the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYC EDC). To manage security operations at these heavily trafficked and highly
sensitive locations, Gene collaborates regularly with a wide number of local, state, and federal agencies.

Every day, he works to ensure that every post is covered and that DSS maintains full compliance with the terms of its contract with PANYNJ. He also monitors operational safety, security program integrity, and client satisfaction with DSS performance.

Before joining DSS, Gene directed security at these same Port Authority facilities. Prior to that, he spent 16 years in senior security management positions for a leading security services provider and for major corporate entities. He began his career as a correctional officer for Middlesex County in New Jersey.

Gene holds a New York / New Jersey Waterfront Commission Management Security License (MSO), Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC), and Security Worker Access Consortium (SWAC) credentials. He is a certified Maritime Facility Security Officer (MFSO).

Helena Montenegro

District Manager, Long Island

Helena provides active oversight of all DSS accounts on Long Island and facilitates day-to-day decisions to satisfy client needs. She works directly with all levels of the DSS organization to ensure the delivery of the highest quality service and meets regularly with clients.

Helena has more than two decades of hands-on security management experience. She began her career at JFK International Airport as a translator with U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Helena’s work at the airport led her to join a regional security services provider as a Security Officer. Through dedication and outstanding performance, she was quickly promoted and held various management positions in the provider’s Aviation Division, ultimately becoming Account Manager for a major national airline at JFK, one of the provider’s most prestigious clients.

Helena continued in this role for more than ten years, overseeing security operations at JFK Terminal 5. On a daily basis, Helena coordinated traffic control, catering security, and all other terminal building security functions, including Central Control Station CCTV video coverage and alarm system monitoring. She ensured that all security personnel at the terminal – which encompassed a staff of 400 security officers, 15 supervisors, and two managers – received the required counseling and training. Helena also directed scheduling, payroll, billing, compliance, and recruiting for the security provider’s staff at Terminal 5.

She possesses considerable experience working with local, state, and federal law enforcement and regulatory agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), U.S. Secret Service, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Tim Morris
Regional Manager, Florida

Tim has over 30 years of Law Enforcement and Security Management experience in the South Florida Area.  He started his career as a Police Officer with the Miami Beach Police Department then became the first African American Police Officer at the Biscayne Park Police Department until venturing into contract security management. 

Prior to joining DSS, Tim served as an Area Vice President and Regional Manager at major security providers.  Tim possesses significant experience in contract negotiations, as well as government, commercial, retail, and HOA security contract management. 

He holds bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from Saint Thomas University.

Glenn Leusink
Training and Development Manager

As training and development manager, Glenn oversees the development of security and service-related materials for DSS team members and customers. He conducts security license training classes for the DSS team members in New York and New Jersey and delivers training that meets the Department of Homeland Security Safety Act requirements. Glenn also manages the DSS Learning Management system, which can deliver training materials electronically to DSS team members and clients.  

Glenn has more than thirty years of security industry and military experience. Prior to joining DSS, he held a variety of leadership positions at security services providers, including serving as a Director of Training & Development, preparing and delivering security training to both employees and customers. Before entering the security industry, Glenn served in the United States Air Force, both in active deployment and as an Instructor at the USAF Security Forces Academy at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. He was also the Superintendent of Information and Personnel Security program for the Pennsylvania Air National Guard.

He holds an Associate of Science degree from Sussex County Community College. Glenn is active in industry organizations, including ASIS and the New York Fire & Life Safety Directors Association. He is also certified as a New York State General Topics Security Guard Training Instructor, New Jersey SORA Instructor, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training Instructor, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor, and American Safety & Health Heart Saver Instructor.

Mark Riggio
Vice President of Business Development and Quality Assurance for New Jersey and Pennsylvania

Mark oversees business development and quality assurance across New Jersey and Pennsylvania, managing DSS’ long-term relationships with our many client partners, building new partnerships, and maintaining quality service delivery and client satisfaction. He reports to John Kalle, corporate Vice President of Business Development and Quality Assurance.

Mark has more than three decades of law enforcement and security industry experience. He began his career with the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Department and later joined the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, investigating a wide range of criminal activity, including auto theft. After he retired from Essex County, Mark entered the contract security industry, ultimately overseeing company operations in six states as a senior regional executive.

Before joining DSS, Mark spent 16 years in various security management and operations positions with regional security services providers. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Police Science from Jersey City State University. 

Mark is a New Jersey Certified SORA Instructor and is a member of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers, ASIS, CAI, BOMA, NJAA, CUPSA and the New Jersey State Retired Police and Firemen’s Association.

Mordechay Givoni, CPP
Area Vice President

Mordechay has more than 15 years of experience in security management and sales as well as significant international military service. As Area Vice President, he oversees sales and business development in his region, managing client relationships and establishing new client partnerships for DSS.

Before joining DSS, Mordechay was the Vice President of Sales at a leading regional security services provider. He was instrumental in growing the provider’s business and extending its footprint to the West Coast. Prior to that, he served as the Regional Business Development Manager for a nationwide security services provider, winning many high-profile clients and expanding the company’s presence in the Northeast.

Mordechay earned a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree in business management and leadership from the City University of New York (CUNY). He is a member of ASIS NYC and serves as the chapter’s CPP Continuing Education Committee Chair, directing the annual Certified Protection Professional (CPP) review course and providing training and mentoring to security professionals who are pursuing their CPP Certification.

Mordechay is a decorated veteran of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). He served in Maglan & Palsar Givati special forces units in the 1990s, seeing active combat missions in Southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip. He was awarded the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) Security Zone in Lebanon Campaign Ribbon for combat service.
