\n\t\tDSS President and COO to Receive Hispanic Society Award\n\t<\/h2>\n\t

DSS is proud to announce that President and Chief Operating Officer Mario J. Doyle will receive the Distinguished Person of the Year Award from the Nassau County Police Hispanic Society (NCPHS).<\/p>\n

The award recognizes Doyle for his longstanding work with the Nassau County Police Department Law Enforcement Exploring program, which provides hands-on training and educational programs for young adults on the purposes, mission, and objectives of law enforcement. He has served as Director of the Exploring program since 2006, when he was appointed to the position by the Nassau County Police Commissioner. Since then, the Exploring program has grown into a landmark outreach program building ties between police and Long Island communities and sponsoring scholarships for young people pursuing careers in law enforcement.<\/p>\n

“I am deeply honored to receive this award from the Hispanic Society,” commented Doyle. “Diversity and inclusion have been a cornerstone focus for DSS and my work with law enforcement groups like the Exploring program. Building bridges between law enforcement agencies and the communities they protect is a critical task that benefits everyone.”<\/p>\nDoyle has been active in the law enforcement and homeland security communities for over two decades. In addition to his work with the Exploring program, he is Group Vice Chairman & Chairman of the New York Metropolitan Area Council of TINYg (Global Terrorism Information Network), a global counterterrorism organization. He is also a board member of The Global Shield Foundation and has served in senior leadership roles at professional associations
\nincluding ASIS International and the Associated Licensed Detectives of New York State (ALDONYS). He is an active member of National Law Enforcement Associates, Inc., the Nassau County Municipal Police Chief’s Association, and serves as the Director of the Nassau County Police Foundation and the Suffolk County Police Athletic League.\nThe NCPHS will present Mario with his award at a gala dinner on October 5th at the Jericho
